About this directory

Crypto Exchanges Directory: DEX & CEX Platforms

Compare decentralized and centralized crypto exchanges side by side. Browse supported tokens, listed projects, and trading models to find the right venue for your next trade or token listing.

A crypto exchange is where digital assets actually change hands. Crypto Dapp indexes the most active decentralized exchanges (DEXs) — Uniswap, PancakeSwap, Raydium, Curve, Jupiter, SushiSwap, Trader Joe, Camelot — alongside the major centralized exchanges (CEXs) like Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Bybit, and Bitget. Each listing shows the venue's exchange type, supported networks, token count, and which Crypto Dapp projects are listed there.

Decentralized exchanges settle trades on-chain through automated market makers or order-book contracts. You keep custody of your funds in your own wallet, you pay gas, and listings are permissionless — anyone can launch a pool. Centralized exchanges hold custody for you, match orders off-chain in a traditional order book, and curate listings through an internal review process.

Filter by exchange type (DEX, CEX, hybrid) and search by name to quickly find the venue you need. The Projects Listed column highlights how many Crypto Dapp–tracked tokens trade on each exchange — useful for project teams scouting listing partners and for investors deciding where their portfolio actually trades.

What each exchange page shows

Exchange name and logo, exchange type (DEX or CEX), root domain, total listed tokens where available, the number of Crypto Dapp–tracked projects currently trading there, and links to the venue's official website and social channels for verification.

DEX vs CEX — choosing a venue

Use a DEX when you want self-custody, permissionless access to long-tail tokens, and full on-chain transparency — and you are comfortable managing wallet security and gas. Use a CEX when you need fiat on-ramps, deep liquidity in major pairs, advanced order types, or regulated custody. Many traders use both, holding long-term positions in self-custody and trading actively on a CEX.

Frequently asked questions

Are DEX listings safer than CEX listings?
Neither is inherently safer. DEX listings are permissionless, so any token can appear — including scams. CEX listings are gated by review but custody risk shifts to the exchange. Always verify the contract address from an official project source before trading on a DEX, and prefer regulated, well-capitalized venues for CEX custody.
How do projects get listed on an exchange?
On a DEX, a project (or anyone) deploys a liquidity pool by pairing the new token with an existing asset. On a CEX, the project submits a listing application that includes legal review, audit reports, market-making commitments, and often a listing fee or token reserve.
Why are some exchanges missing from the directory?
Crypto Dapp prioritizes active exchanges with verifiable volume and a public web presence. Inactive, abandoned, or regional venues with no English documentation may be omitted. Submit missing exchanges through the contact form for review.
