All payments for $OBS are made on-chain in cryptocurrency. By completing a purchase you acknowledge that the transaction is final and irreversible once confirmed by the relevant blockchain.
1. How settlement works
When your payment transaction is confirmed, our backend records the transaction hash and credits your $OBS balance atomically in our ledger. There is no holding period: confirmation = credit.
2. No refunds on confirmed purchases
Once your $OBS has been credited, the purchase cannot be reversed, cancelled, refunded, or unwound — neither by us nor by the blockchain. This is a property of crypto-asset settlement, not a policy choice.
3. Failed or orphaned transactions
In rare cases, funds may leave your wallet but $OBS may not be credited (for example: chain reorganization, dropped transaction, insufficient gas at confirmation, or a backend outage). If this happens:
- Open the support chat (Intercom bubble) or email support@cryptod.app.
- Provide your wallet address and the transaction hash.
- We will investigate and, where the chain confirms a successful payment to our address, credit the corresponding $OBS within 7 business days.
4. Wrong-address sends
If you send funds to an address that is not the official Crypto Dapp recipient address shown in the checkout flow, we cannot recover them. Always verify the recipient address in-app before signing any transaction.
5. Discount codes
A discount code's usage count only decrements when a purchase completes successfully. Abandoned or failed checkouts do not consume the code; you can retry without penalty.
6. Chargebacks
Crypto-asset payments are not chargebackable. We do not accept fiat, credit, or debit-card payments for $OBS, so no card-network chargeback rights apply.
7. Statutory rights
Where applicable mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction grants you rights that override this policy, those rights apply. Nothing here limits any non-waivable statutory right you may have.
